Staff Qualifications

Patty Iverson

Patty Iverson

Patty Iverson is a graduate of the University of California, Davis and holds a California Elementary School Teaching Credential. She taught in the public school as a full-time teacher of art and reading, and as a substitute teacher for all grade levels.

Patty has a diverse and extraordinary background which includes both the liberal arts (art, dance) and practical business experience. She has worked with animals (taught horseback riding, raised calves on a family farm), and worked in construction and project management for both residential and commercial projects, with an emphasis on technology requirements for commercial tenants.

She has also contributed to many civic endeavors including housing and senior services. Because of this diverse background, she brings the best of creative and organizational skills together to create a care environment which is both flexible and focused, supporting your child’s emotional development, and fostering curiosity and early learning experiences. She is pleased to return to her roots as a teacher and caregiver for young children

Her husband, Steven Parker, is fully-qualified as a primary caregiver through the Washington State Department of Early Learning (including STARS training) and is an assistant in the Family Home Child Care program. This allows flexiblity in providing both group interactions and individual attention for your child.
